I am a theorist who works on the formation and evolution of galaxies in the local and high redshift Universe, using both simulations and large observational data sets.  I am a member of the DEEP2 Galaxy Redshift Survey team and was  also a significant contributor to the analysis of the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey.  I work closely with the Virgo Consortium on the Millennium Run N-body dark matter simulation and am an expert in the area of semi-analytic galaxy formation modelling.
